InfoWest began business nearly 20 years ago as one of the first Internet Service Providers in the state of Utah. Since that time they have always been on the cutting edge of technology.
Some advantages of InfoWest High Speed Fiber service include:

• Speed – InfoWest Internet is extremely fast.

• Security – InfoWest Internet is safe and secure.

• Service – InfoWest has local friendly technical support

• Reliability – InfoWest systems are proven and reliable.

• Integration – InfoWest easily interfaces with your home and business networks.

• Affordability – InfoWest Internet services are fast and affordable.

• Clean Internet – Safe options for filtered Internet are FREE

Still, all that fiber optic technology can be frustrating without a friendly, local company to help you get started and keep going. That’s where InfoWest shines.

When customers call InfoWest they get a professional who lives right here in Utah. If you value good customer service then you will definitely want to consider InfoWest for your Internet, phone, HDTV and other related services.

We encourage you to talk to your friends and neighbors and ask them about InfoWest. Our reputation is rock-solid in the communities we serve and we pride ourselves on our quality and reliable fiber optic service”

OK internet service, terrible billing system

Although there are occasional periods of slow (less than 1Mbs on what's supposed to be a 250Mbs connection) internet, for the most part we're able to stream video with no problems. However, their online billing system is ridiculously bad: it won't save my billing address, and there's no way I can see to set up automatic payments, so I have to remember to go to their website to manually pay the bill each month.

My phone is currently dead....again. This has happened multiple times. Our internet is currently slow...again. I have called technical support and waited on hold so long that I am finally directed to voicemail. They do call back, but last time it was 1 1/2 hours later and I wasn't home by then. I only have a prepaid Trac phone as an alternate phone so this is very inconvenient for me. We have spent a lot of time on technical support during the duration of our contact. One time, they had no idea what to do for me and ended up having me text them a picture of our box. The technician said the installers did some things wrong and they would send someone out to fix it (this is probably a separate Utopia issue, but the installation was terrible and not completed as promised. They ran visible wires through from the box to put phone.) That never happened and the problems have continued. We are thrilled that our contact is over so that we can again have reliable phone and internet service.

Probably the best, most honest company there is.

Working with them has been a pleasure! I have the wireless service through them and their Tech Support is very knowledgeable and always wanting to help. The billing crew is always amazing and friendly that everytime I've paid a bill I always leave with a smile and the whole crew over at Infowest is like a close-knit family. If you want a local company, that cares about its customers, then Infowest is the way to go!

DO NOT USE!

Worst internet on the entire Utopia lineup. I have recorded 20% packet loss over the entire last week since the service was 'restored.'

For those that don't know, this basically means that the internet is unusable, you cannot watch Netflix, you cannot view internet websites correctly, and you definitely cannot play games.

When I called to cancel my service, they tried to charge me $250 because we're under contract. That same contract also states that you will provide usable internet, which you are failing to do.

Save yourself the trouble and sign up with a better Utopia provider. If Utopia had any brand integrity, they would drop InfoWest from their providers list and cut their losses.

We apologize for the problems you had with your InfoWest UTOPIA connection. At the time of your service issues, there was a failed fiber connection on the long-haul network that connects InfoWest and UTOPIA. InfoWest and UTOPIA worked to build an alternate path around the problem, but complete repair took much longer than anyone anticipated. We did issue a credit to all customers affected by the outage, and waived any early termination fees for this and other customers who left us at that time. Since then, we have invested in a secondary, physically separate connection to the Internet from the UTOPIA network and deployed additional redundant network hardware to prevent these types of issues if there are future fiber cuts. We appreciate all our customers and the patience they showed us during this difficult time. We will continue to invest and upgrade our services on the UTOPIA network.
